After all the shenanigans of the last few weeks (Os unable to join, missions no longer working, my Arma crashes, slowdowns etc) I've been doing some testing which has thrown up some interesting observations.
With each test I ran the Escape from Tanoa mission.
Test 1) Fire up Arma 3 in Steam (click play) I started this via Steam, not using ArmaSync and deleted all mods within the launcher. (Click Mods, then select the "More" carrot/tab and Unsubscribe all Steam Mods)
I ran the mission for a couple of hours, starting and re-starting without issue. Everything worked as it used to.
Test 2) Fire up Arma 3 using ArmaSync I tested all the mod combinations, private, public etc and eventually the game would either slow down, I'd die and need to close my PC down or when I closed the mission it would lock up.
Test 3) Fire up Arma 3 using ArmaSync, de-select all mods (No mods running) I ran the game, but it eventually slowed down. When I died, I had to close my PC as the game would lock up
Running all the tests again and checking Task Manager, ArmaSync appears to use the 32-bit Arma exe. Native Steam using the 64 bit exe.
In conclusion, I'm proposing we stop using ArmaSync and go back to using the native launcher and Steam workshop.
Thoughts??

Update: I've added a couple of ports to my router. For some reason Virgin have updated their router config for port forwarding and 2302 etc had dropped off, but I had 21000. Tested with Osprey and he can now see my server.
