DCS 2.5 stable version out

With the release of the stable 2.5, are we going to switch to this, or remain on the Open Beta stream?

The benefit of OB from what I can see, would mean latest fixes. The downside being joining servers online etc. I have enough SSD space for both installs, but wanted to see what you chaps thought.

To go to stable instructions below.

1) Before you begin : don’t delete 2,5 open beta, don’t remove, deactivate your modules etc.
2) Download new installer from www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/stable/
3) Run installer
4) Provide new path for DCS World
5) Now installer will recognize previously installed 2.5 open Beta and will start copy files from 2.5 open beta to new directory DCS World
6) Move Input profile files from 2.5 Open Beta to DCS folder:
C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

I play a lot online, are you saying there will be fewer Servers for stable?

I'd imagine there would be a lot of people who just run the stable branch, rather than OB. I do think there will be OB servers available, but you'd be unable to join those which were on the release build.

I'm going to have both installed and use SkateZilla's DCS Updater Utility to manage the installs.

Big patch/update on the beta stream, 11GB for me. Os, I'm going to run your Huey mission a couple of times after deleting the FXO & Metashaders folders and see if the freeze still happens.
